Alberto Barton and Guillermo Kaelin Hospital Complexes: 10 years of quality care
On April 30, 2024, the EsSalud Hospital Complexes Alberto Barton and Guillermo Kaelin celebrated 10 years of interrupted care for their 500,000 patients. Both centres, run by IBT, have been shown to aim at providing quality health care.
The executive president of EsSalud, María Elena Aguilar, participated in the anniversary commemorative ceremony, where she received from the hand of the president of IBT, José Ramon Brea, the certificates of the Joint Commission International Accreditation.
Since its inauguration, both the Alberto Barton Hospital Complex and the Guillermo Kaelin have been committed to the quality of health they provide to their insured, based on three key elements: the experience and warmth of their professionals applied in clinical management, the proper maintenance of their facilities and equipment; and the use of state-of-the-art technology.
They are the only health centers nationwide that have obtained the fourth star in carbon footprint measurement, recognition that certifies an efficient use of natural resources for the benefit of the environment and the areas where each project is developed. This was achieved thanks to various recycling programs, optimization of energy consumption and especially the change of the energy matrix, now 95% of the operation of the Hospital Complexes is done with natural gas.
We managed to obtain an average level of satisfaction from our users of 89%, reaching more than 90% in some services. We also reached 85% in recommendation to our centres.
Jose Ramón Brea, president of IBT, comments:
“We are extremely proud to celebrate ten years of dedicated service and quality care at the Barton and Kaelin Complexes. Over the past decade, we have seen Resorts grow and evolve to meet the changing needs of our patients and the wider community, while keeping in mind our commitment to quality, sustainability and efficiency. The success and growth of the Hospital Complexes would not have been possible without the support and dedication of all our collaborators who are committed to providing quality care and warmth every day”
IIBT Group, the Hospital Complexes’ management company, recognizes that celebrating the 10th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on past achievements and look to the future with determination and energy. ” We will remain committed to our goal of providing safe, quality and patient-centered care that improves the quality of life for all people who rely on us for their care,” Brea added.
