Guillermo Kaelin Hospital achieves accreditation Joint Comission International
EsSalud’s hospital operates under the modality of Public-Private Partnership (APP), “Bata Blanca”, and is managed by a consortium led by IBT Group.
Guillermo Kaelin de la Fuente Public Hospital, managed by IBT Group, has obtained the Gold Seal of Approval of the Joint Commission International for the Accreditation for the Hospital Center by demonstrating its continued compliance with international JCI standards, becoming, together with the Alberto Barton Hospital, the first non-specialized public hospitals in Peru to be accredited by this institution. The Golden Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects the organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care for its patients.
During the week of November 27 to December 1, the Guillermo Kaelin Hospital received the evaluation team of the JCI who, after conducting an evaluation of all the services and areas of the center, certified through its more than 1000 measurable elements, the safety and quality of the processes it provides to its patients.
Guillermo Kaelin Hospital has devoted significant efforts to meet JCI standards, including the implementation of sound clinical practices, ongoing staff training and investment in cutting-edge technology. This accreditation reaffirms the future commitment to excellence in health care.
Dr. Katya Chavez, director of the Hospital, mentions: “What we have achieved today shows us that you can always be a good doctor, a good nurse, a good technician, a good professional willing for a hospital to take forward a person who comes to us for help without knowing us, and above all, who leaves grateful. Today, we return that thanks and trust to all our patients with this accreditation”.
With the accreditation of the Guillermo Kaelin Hospital and the Alberto Barton Hospital, together with that of both Polyclinics and the Home Unit, the Guillermo Kaelin and Alberto Barton Hospital Complexes are the only ones that provide comprehensive care to their 500,000 members fully accredited by an independent and global institution recognized as the Joint Commission International.
IBT Group President José Ramon Brea greets all teams involved in achieving this accreditation. They, along with our patients, promote a culture of quality and safety.
