Company Associates plant more than 1,000 trees in Guerra

Santo Domingo.- Prado Park together with the companies Alfridomsa and IBT Group in a joint effort to contribute to the environment and sustainability, held on the day of the environment a reforestation day in Guerra, Framed within the collective commitment to restore green areas and promote environmental awareness.

During the day, more than 1,000 trees of native and endemic species were planted, such as: mahogany creole, white cedar and bamboo, carefully selected to ensure their adaptation and benefit to the local system, thus contributing to a healthier environment.

The initiative, which brought together partners from different companies, underlines the growing corporate responsibility towards preserving natural resources and fighting climate change, with more than 70,000 trees planted in various parts of the country.

“This action not only benefits our natural environment, but also strengthens ties with the community and promotes a culture of sustainability among our collaborators. In every tree we plant, we sow the investment of a greener and healthier future for all,” said Gina Victoriano, executive vice president.

The reforestation day is part of a broader corporate social responsibility commitment to integrate sustainability into their daily operations, including carbon footprint reduction initiatives, recycling programs, energy efficiency programs and community support as part of their commitment to a sustainable environment.
