The Doctor Mario Tolentino DIPP Hospital is inaugurated, a project designed, built, and equipped by IBT Group

Santo Domingo.- IBT Group carried out the construction and equipment of the General Hospital Dr. Mario Tolentino Dipp, a project with 16,697 m2 of construction.

President Luis Abinader Corona inaugurated the new General Hospital Dr. Mario Tolentino Dipp in the Ciudad de la Salud de la Charles de Gaulle, in the province of Santo Domingo. The hospital adds 203 hospitalization beds to the healthcare system, with an investment exceeding RD$2.8 billion.

This state-of-the-art facility, with architectural and engineering design meeting the highest international quality standards, represents a significant advancement in specialized medical services for Santo Domingo Norte. It underscores a commitment to providing high-quality care to all citizens, ensuring the well-being and comfort of users.

The hospital features 19 specialty clinics, including internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology, pediatrics, general surgery, dermatology, dentistry, emergency, pharmacy, imaging, laboratory, sterilization, surgical unit, intensive care unit, hemodialysis unit, pathology, psychology, and general services. It has modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art equipment to address a wide range of complex medical conditions, highlighted by a fully digital imaging area with a 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging machine and a 64-slice CT scanner with artificial intelligence. Additionally, it has a surgery block with 5 operating rooms, each equipped with a laparoscopy tower, and two cutting-edge surgical microscopes.

During the inauguration ceremony, President Abinader emphasized the hospital’s modernization and the importance of this healthcare center in strengthening the national health system.

The center, combining cutting-edge technology with patient-centric design, reflects IBT Group’s ongoing commitment to excellence in every infrastructure project undertaken nationally and internationally. The company has been involved in the construction of various hospitals in the country, including the Traumatological Hospital Dr. Ney Arias Lora, Pediatric Hospital Dr. Hugo de Mendoza, Maternal Hospital Dr. Reynaldo Almánzar, Provincial Hospital of Monte Plata Dr. Ángel Contreras Mejía, General and Specialties Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia (HGENSA), and the Traumatological and Surgical Hospital Prof. Juan Bosch, among others.

Currently, IBT Group Health LLC has been awarded the projects for the Specialized Hospitals of EsSalud in Piura and Chimbote, benefiting more than 1.6 million people in Peru.
