Our positive impact

Ecoefficient management at IBT Group

For IBT Group, good environmental management is a priority and is considered from the planning stages of its activities. Investing in the use of the latest eco-efficient technologies and reducing environmental impacts is crucial to meet the expectations of our clients and society as a whole.

Our environmental management plan aims to:

  • Understand and assess the environmental impacts generated by the activities in the construction projects.
  • Know the requirements related to the environment that are applicable to each type of work.
  • Establish the basis for making appropriate environmental control decisions.
  • Size the appropriate resources to ensure compliance with the required environmental specifications, applying the best available and economically viable technologies.
  • Management for environmental training.
  • Contingency management to anticipate possible emergency situations.
  • Promover buenas prácticas ambientales en nuestras oficinas.

Energy management

At IBT Group we measure and control the energy consumption of our projects in order to optimize it; which in the long term will be evidenced in the reduction of the company’s emissions and the reduction of its expenses.

We have an environmental policy that uses the Sustainable Development Goals on the consumption of water and non-polluting energy as a reference.

All IBT Group projects apply the general environmental management framework to develop specific environmental management plans. This same standard applies to subcontracting companies and suppliers of goods or services.

Waste management

IBT Group has solid waste minimization and management plans under a preventive approach and constant monitoring. In addition, we have procedures that regulate the acquisition, use and final disposal of non-reusable waste through authorized management companies.
